Round Table India hosts 3rd edition of the Pride of Telangana’

Hyderabad, November 27, 2021: Round Table India, hosted its prestigious 3rd edition of the ‘Pride of Telangana’ Awards, for those unsung heroes who are instrumental in bringing about a silent revolution in the society. Chief Guest Shri Jayesh Ranjan, presented the ‘Pride of Telangana’ awards and felicitated the winners at an awards ceremony, hosted by Round Table India, today at Novotel HICC, HITEC City.

Speaking on the occasion Shri Jayesh Ranjan said, there are two categories of Award winners, Achievers and Emerging awards. I congratulate the Award winners for their accomplishments. Telangana, though is a young state, is seen as a state which excels. Our reputation in supporting IT Growth, Industrial growth is considered to be one of the best in the world, not just in the country. Our IT and Industries minister is considered to be the best minister. We excel in other spheres too, for example the way the pandemic was handled by Telangana state is exemplary, infection rates were low, fatalities were low. I am happy that all of you contribute to that image and reputation of the excellence that Telangana enjoys today. You are our brand ambassadors. I request all the Achievers to remain informed of all the social development projects, community focussed projects that the government implements and be a part of us. I congratulate the entire Round Table team for these awards, this is the third edition, I have been associated with this right from the first year. The kind of professionalism and objectivity with which these awards are given are absolutely amazing.   

Ms Lakshmi Manchu said, a big, big congratulations to all the winners. It is not easy to be where you are, I know what kind of hard work goes into reaching there. I want all of you to continue doing the wonderful work that you are doing, because of you this world is a better place.   

The categories for Awards were curated with great care and thought process. Each category has two awards, one for the accomplisher, the ‘Achiever Award’ and the other for the most promising talent in the field, the ‘Emerging Award. The Fourteen award categories are Sports, Special Award for Women, NGO, Retail, Film Artist, SME, Administrative Services, Food & Beverage, Medical, Start-ups, Arts & Culture, Education and Inner Wellness, says Chaitanya Dev Singh, Area Chairman, Round Table India.

The ‘Achiever’ awardees were Prajwala Foundation in NGO category; Bajaj Electronics in Retail category; Prof J Mahender Reddy in Education; Dr Evita Fernandez in Medical category; Skyroot Aerospace in Start-Up category; Shrimati Mahima Datla in Special Award for Women category; Shri Mohammad Ali Baig in Art and Culture category; M/s Pista House in Food and Beverage category; Dr Newton Kondaveti in Inner Wellness category; Nucon Aerospace in SME category; Shri Shabbir Ali in Sports category; Shri Tharun Bhascker Dhaassyam in Film category; Dr G Srinivas Rao in Administrative services category and Surge Impact Foundation in Special jury award Category.

The ‘Emerging’ category awards were presented to No Food Waste in NGO category; Cellbay Mobiles & Electronics Pvt Ltd; & KGN Xerox in Retail category; Active Farm School in Education; Major (Dr.) Shashank Kumar Srivastav in Medical category; Jarsh Safety in Start-Up category; Meghana Munsunri in Special Award for Women category; Madhu Vottery in Art and Culture category; Spark Premium Goli Soda in Food and Beverage category; Soul Beauty and Wellness Center in Inner Wellness category; Terminus Group in SME category; Alicia Joe in Sports category and P V N S Rohit in Film category. 

The response for nominations was unprecedented and the eminent jury had task on hand to decide the most eligible winners for each award. The jury comprised of Mr Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary, I & C and IT, Telangana; Dr G.V. Rao, Director, AIG Hospitals; Mrs Kamini Saraf, Entrepreneur and Past Chairperson FICCI FLO; Mrs Lakshmi Manchu, Actress; Mr Manish Bhartiya, Director, Ratnadeep Retail and Mr Mahender Reddy, Director, St.Mary’s Group, with Advisory Board Members of Mr Yashwant Jhabakh, Founder & Chairman, Mahavir Group and Mr Sandeep Agarwal, Director, Ratnadeep Retail. Their brilliance ultimately enabled to choose the best for each award, says Ishan Agarwal, Table Chairman, Round Table India. 

Round Table India has always emphasised on the fact that education is a greatest enabler and helps individual to achieve their dreams. To fulfil this aspiration, Round Table India will contribute the entire proceeds from this event towards improving the infrastructure in the government schools and towards welfare of children from underprivileged sections.
