Rest The Case Celebrates 4th Anniversary with Legal Empowerment Session at Snehalaya Snehadhar Project

Pune, (Maharashtra) [India], July 22, 2024: Rest The Case, a professional services platform, recently achieved a significant milestone – its fourth year of operation. To commemorate this occasion, the company hosted a special legal session at the Snehalaya Snehadhar Project, a renowned Pune-based NGO that provides shelter and support to women in distress.

Snehalaya Snehadhar Project serves as a safe haven for women facing domestic violence, sexual abuse, forced marriage, rape, prostitution, and sexual harassment, both at home and at work. Over the past two years, the organization has provided refuge to over 100 women in Pune. Their dedication to women’s empowerment was even recognized in a special episode of the popular Star Plus reality show “Satyamev Jayate,” hosted by Aamir Khan.

To empower the women at Snehalaya with legal knowledge, Rest The Case invited renowned lawyer Kanchan Sapre to conduct an informative and empowering session. Ms. Sapre shed light on the various legal rights available to women in India and discussed strategies for protecting themselves in different situations based on current laws. The session also featured a lively Q&A segment where the women’s questions were addressed.

“We are incredibly grateful to the Snehalaya Snehadhar Project for providing us with a platform to educate and raise legal awareness among women about their rights,” said Shreya Sharma, CEO of Rest The Case. “We are also thrilled to celebrate our 4th anniversary on July 15th.”

In a journey characterized by substantial growth and achievement, the Rest The Case community has grown to encompass more than 2600 lawyers, all driven by a deep commitment to justice. They have offered essential legal support to 3.6 lakh individuals, making a significant impact across the country. In addition to direct assistance, the organization has hosted informative panel discussions on critical legal issues, promoting awareness and enriching public dialogue. With appreciation for their lawyers, supporters, and beneficiaries, they remain steadfast in expanding their influence and supporting their community through a widespread network of legal professionals spanning 200 cities.
