Seeking at HTF and CWE 2025 expo, Mr. Rajesh Peshion, General Marketing Head, Osho Tools Pvt. Ltd, said “For nearly two decades, participation in HTF has been consistent across cities, underlining its enduring impact on the industry. Post-pandemic, discussions on the hand tools and power tools sector resulted in the sanction for ₹3,000 crore allocation by government to establish domestic power tool manufacturing in India. This initiative is expected to reduce import dependence, retain value within the country, and generate substantial employment opportunities. With strong government support and sustained investment from Indian manufacturers, the expo continues to play a pivotal role in driving sectoral growth and long-term economic benefits.”

Mr. Neeraj Aggarwal, Director, De Neers Tools Limited, said “The consolidation of platforms under Informa’s leadership will further strengthen the exhibitions ecosystem, creating better opportunities for businesses in the years ahead. As one of the leading brands in hand tools, we are committed to offering a complete range of solutions and are expanding our capabilities with two upcoming manufacturing units in India. This step will not only reduce dependence on imports but also generate employment and contribute to building a stronger future for the hand tools industry in the country.”

Mr. Ishant Gupta, Partner, Kuber Sales, said “HTF provides a strong platform to showcase products and reflects a clear vision of connecting exhibitors with customers. The exhibition offers valuable exposure to new products and emerging technologies, enabling participants to explore innovations and integrate them into their work. It consistently delivers meaningful outcomes, establishing itself as a significant opportunity for growth and collaboration.”

Mr. Aman Aggarwal, Managing Director, A Cube Tools & Hardware LLP India, said “For years, India’s OEMs and factories largely relied on established European tool brands. With the introduction of DongCheng, we have been able to match, and in many cases exceed, those benchmarks by offering machines that combine reliable quality with greater affordability. This shift has encouraged many OEMs to adopt DongCheng as a trusted alternative, with tools delivering a consistent lifespan of six months to a year. It reflects the growing confidence in competitive, high-quality solutions that meet the demands of Indian manufacturing.”

Mr. Wouter Molman, Chief Commercial Officer, Informa Markets IMEA, said “It is a privilege for Informa to organise this event and integrate it into our global portfolio. With our scale, industry knowledge, and strong buyer-seller networks across sectors like pharma, food, packaging and construction, we are well positioned to deliver greater value to the Hand Tools & Fasteners Expo. Our focus is on strengthening business opportunities, developing industry linkages, and build a platform that supports long-term growth for the sector. We are optimistic about the journey ahead and the opportunities this transformation will create for all stakeholders.”

Mr. Gagan Sahni, Group Director, Informa Markets in India, said “The industry holds immense potential, and exhibitions like this create a powerful platform for direct interaction between buyers and manufacturers. With over 3,000 pre-registered visitors from 19 countries, the event reflects strong global trust and offers an excellent environment for business growth and collaboration.”

Mr. Yogesh Mudras, Managing Director, Informa Markets in India, said“The tools industry is a critical enabler of global manufacturing, driving efficiency and productivity across construction, automotive, electronics and infrastructure. India’s ambition to expand hand and power tools exports from the current USD 1 billion to over USD 25 billion by 2035 reflects the enormous opportunities ahead. HTF and CWE, co-located with IMEX and UMEX, provide a unified platform where technology providers, distributors, OEMs, and end-users can collaborate and accelerate this growth journey. With strategic networking programs and strong international participation, HTF 2025 is shaping the future of India’s tools and manufacturing ecosystem.”

A key highlight of this edition is ‘Grip and Grow’ – Power Tools Dealers, Distributors & OEMs Networking Meet, a focused engagement program, brought together top channel leaders and trade professionals for strategic networking and collaboration. Over the years, the Hand Tools and Fastener Expo series has evolved into a complete industry conclave, bringing together CEOs, plant managers, material managers, quality heads, production experts, distributors and decision-makers from design, manufacturing, engineering, fabrication and allied sectors. The 2025 edition continues its legacy as a global sourcing and knowledge-exchange hub, featuring cutting-edge products and solutions from both Indian and international manufacturers.

The event also laid the foundation for upcoming highlights, including recognition of outstanding exhibitors and breakthrough innovations on the concluding day, alongside forward-looking discussions on India’s Industry 4.0 readiness. Business networking programs and receptions are further strengthening ties among VIPs, exhibitors and stakeholders, ensuring collaborations and partnerships extend well beyond the exhibition floor.

The Indian hand tools, power tools and fasteners market is witnessing an impressive growth, driven by government capital expenditure on roads, railways, airports and housing, alongside rising demand from furniture manufacturing, the automotive aftermarket and the growing DIY culture. According to IMARC Group, the domestic hand tools market, valued at around USD 826 million in 2024, is projected to reach USD 1.22 billion by 2033, growing at a CAGR of 4.1%, supported by infrastructure build-out, MSME modernization and strong aftermarket demand. The power tools segment, estimated at USD 1.85 billion in 2025, is expected to more than double to USD 3.8 billion by 2035 at a CAGR of 7.8%, with cordless tools gaining momentum for their safety, mobility and productivity benefits. Together, hand tools, power tools and fastening systems form the backbone of modern manufacturing, construction and infrastructure projects powering industries from automotive and aerospace to real estate and smart city development, while fasteners literally “hold together” everything from consumer appliances to industrial machinery.

With its strong lineup of exhibitors, focused buyer-seller interactions, and cross-industry synergies, HTF + CWE 2025, along with IMEX and UMEX reaffirms its position as the premier business event shaping the future of the hand tools, fasteners and manufacturing ecosystem in India.
