“Fitness: The Key to a Long-Lasting Acting Career” – ‘Nivaan Sen’

Fitness, Nivaan Sen, actor, producer,

As an actor and producer, I’ve always believed that fitness is an essential part of life. My journey in sports began at a young age, and I was a 100m and 200m sprinter, as well as a football player for various clubs. Fitness has become a ritual and discipline for me, and it’s something that I prioritize every day,no matter where I am or what I’m doing.

For me, finding an hour for myself every day is crucial. Whether I’m shooting or not, I make sure to fit in some form of physical activity. I believe that if you can’t find time for yourself, then life becomes meaningless. This discipline has helped me in my acting career, which began with Bangla theatre and later transitioned to Hindi theatre in Varanasi.

As an actor, I’ve learned that acting is not just about method acting or techniques taught in school. It’s a journey of life, and experiences shape you into a better actor. While education can provide a foundation, it’s the lessons learned through life’s experiences that truly make an actor.

Fitness plays a vital role in an actor’s career longevity. It’s not just about looking good on camera; it’s about maintaining physical and mental well-being. Whether it’s gym, yoga, or calisthenics, physical fitness is essential for actors who want to have a long and successful career.

As the producer of Urban Boat Films & Artist, I’ve had the opportunity to travel to different places and cities, but I’ve never skipped my workout routine. Discipline and focus are key to achieving success, and fitness is an integral part of that.

My mantra is simple: nothing is impossible if you stay focused and disciplined. Life is a journey, and it’s essential to enjoy every moment of it. By prioritizing fitness and discipline, I’ve been able to maintain a successful acting career and live a balanced life.

“Fitness is not just about physical health; it’s about mental well-being too. As an actor, I’ve learned to prioritize fitness to maintain my overall health and deliver my best performances.”
