Aryav AWG: An innovative answer to the world's water crisis
Sanjay Kumar Garg

The topic of the water crisis has always been discussed from marking Day Zero in Cape Town, South Africa 2018 to finding effective ways to transport drinkable water to regions affected by natural disasters. The primary requirement of water is in the equatorial regions during the summers.

In our country, there is huge water scarcity in primary cities like Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi, and Chennai, which are facing huge water shortages and are likely to run out of groundwater by 2030. Rising global temperatures are fuelling devastating extreme weather throughout the world– causing droughts to intensify, glaciers to melt, and freshwater sources to become more depleted – water shortages are predicted to become more acute.

In such a dire situation the country’s new generation of environmentally conscious individuals is taking up a stand to improve the present scenario. With the ever-approaching menace of exhausting the world’s supply of freshwater, Aryav Atmospheric Water Generators (AWG), a subsidiary of Aryav promise to be the solution to the global water crisis as one of the primary sources of renewable water in the future.

Aryav Atmospheric Water Generators (AWG) are created to tackle water problems and provide safe and pure drinking water using the air-to-water technology which replicates the natural process of condensation by simulating a dew point to make water continuously, even in low humidity conditions.

The innovation is apt for equatorial and tropical regions. Aryav absorbs humidity present in the air, purifies it, and provides water for its users. The machines come in different sizes from 100 liters machines to 10,000 liters for community housing and industrial use. Aryav AWG’s can generate up to 1000 liters of water in just 24 hours from the atmospheric moisture.

The machine works on the condensation process and refrigeration process. Air is sucked by a blower, which passes through the heat exchanger and then to the compressor. Water droplets are collected in a bottom tank which further goes through the multistage filtration process and collected in Top Tank which is UV filtered further. From the top tank, you can dispense the pure, clean, alkaline, mineral water.

“Countries across the world are waking up to a new water crisis every month. “Aryav AWG is making a change on how we aim to generate drinking water to combat water issues experienced by providing environmentally friendly solutions for homes, businesses, industries, and in an emergency as a complete disaster relief solution”, said Sanjay Kumar Garg, one of the founders of Aryav AWG.

“Aryav AWG can be a solution to water scarcity in rural areas, as a freshwater source in emergency relief situations, or for remote working sites. The inspiration for atmospheric water harvesting comes from coastal deserts, where beetles and banana leaves, which are present in nature, harvest humidity efficiently” he added.

Aryav’s Atmospheric Water Generators are created to tackle water problems and provide safe and pure drinking water using the air-to-water technology which replicates the natural process of condensation by simulating a dew point to make water continuously, even in low humidity conditions.

The company’s innovative solution called ‘Aryav AWG’ produces 100 percent microbe-free potable water by using the water vapour present in the air.

The company’s solutions are the most effective and economical way to solve the pressing issue of drinking water scarcity in any location and at any time, and also enable the elimination of carbon-intensive supply chains and environmentally-harmful plastic waste.

Aryav AWG innovative technology taps into the atmosphere – an unlimited, freely-available resource – to provide drinking water to people everywhere, from the most remote rural village communities to commercial office buildings to private homes. The machines can either be powered with an electric generator or through solar power, offering flexibility when it comes to power generation

Aryav has developed this product and got it validated from IIM Kashipur. The technology also got patented in India and the brand name was also got registered.
