Nanded (Maharashtra) [India], August 6, 2024: The All India Memon Federation – Disaster Management Wing, in collaboration with the District Collector Office, Nanded, organized a Disaster Management Awareness Program at Madinatulum High School, Nanded. The program aimed to educate citizens and students on disaster management and its importance in daily life.
Convenors Firoj Pochi and Makrani Ibrahim, along with Anis Memon, Ibrahim Pirani, and Javed Gigra, were present at the event. The program was arranged under the guidance of Iqbal Memon, Officer and President of AIMJF, Gulam Mohmmad Mithhubhai, Vice President, and Abdul Razzak Varshani, Chairman of the Disaster Management Wing.
The event featured informative sessions and interactive activities, equipping participants with knowledge and skills to respond to disasters effectively. Abdul Razzak Varshani, Chairman of the Disaster Management Wing, emphasized the importance of disaster management awareness, stating, “We are committed to building a disaster-resilient community, and this program is a significant step towards achieving that goal.”
