Aditya Ansh Speaks on Debut Novel, Warns It’s Just the Teaser

Aditya Ansh, a young and talented writer, has taken the literary world by storm with the release of his debut novel, “Dance In The Windstorm.” This dark fiction novel, brimming with elements of horror and psychological intrigue, marks a significant milestone in Aditya’s writing journey.

But, he asserts that this is just the beginning.

We had a chat with Aditya and came to know more about him-

Early Beginnings and Inspiration

Aditya’s passion for writing can be traced back to the summer of 2014 when he was just nine years old. Armed with A4 sheets, he crafted comic stories, stapling them together and proudly proclaiming, “Hey, here is my book.” These early attempts, though simple, ignited a lifelong love for storytelling. Plato’s words, “The beginning is the most important part of the work,” resonate deeply with Aditya’s journey.

By 2018, Aditya ventured into writing quotes and poetry. Despite initial amateur efforts, he began sharing his poetry on “YourQuote” in 2019, connecting with a broader audience. The pandemic years starting in March 2020 were transformative. Aditya wrote short stories and full-length narratives on Wattpad while reading 140 books over two years. He also launched a YouTube channel, “Booksfinity,” dedicated to promoting literature in India.

Shaping The Dream

One day, while gazing at his bookshelf, a thought struck Aditya: “What if one day one of these books had Aditya Ansh written on it?” This realization sparked a serious commitment to his writing. During his time in class XI, Aditya began working on a poetry collection. His quotes gained viewership, and he realized the potential of his work.

In 2021, Aditya published his first book, “The Floating Droplets,” followed by another poetry collection, “Scented Pages,” in 2022. These accomplishments brought him recognition, including multiple awards and a certification from Harvard World Records.

His Early Interests

When asked about his early interests, he mentioned, he did not immediately like to read or write books. He was a huge fan of movies and cricket while growing up. He has cited that at many points in his career he thought of being either an actor or a cricketer. As he grew up, he took up photography and wrote articles on editing. He used to make a lot of VFX and Visual graphic art digitally. Most of them were recognized by Bollywood Actors and even sportsmen.

On Dance In The Windstorm

Aditya’s novel, “Dance In The Windstorm,” stems from his fascination with the paranormal, science, and human psychology. The question, “Is there something between life and death?” led to the idea of ghosts. Intrigued by darker elements, Aditya decided to write a dark fiction novel with horror elements. The novel revolves around a haunted mansion, a couple who move into their dream house, and a team of paranormal investigators determined to restore peace. Aditya’s meticulous research and dedication over two years brought this story to life.

Another teacher criticized his poetry for being too dark, suggesting it wouldn’t appeal to people. Instead of being disheartened, Aditya used these criticisms as fuel for his passion.
